During my recent stay at the Blue Mountains Homestay, the experience struck a balance between comfort and value. The Kariappa family extended a warm welcome, making us feel right at home. The rooms, while modest, offer cozy sitting areas and garden views, though they might feel a bit tight for families with children. Mealtime was a highlight, as Mrs Kariappa treated us to delightful local dishes. Rajat, the caretaker, efficiently organized evening snacks and coffee-always a bonus! Although housekeeping was commendable, the lack of ceiling fans was an unexpected discomfort in summer. Located amidst lush plantations, this spot is perfect for nature lovers. Guests have access to facilities like free Wi-Fi and a peaceful picnic area, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of down-to-earth luxury without breaking the bank.
